A terrible place to work - Anonymous employee Cath Kidston Employee Review

Problems with payroll - I had to argue to receive the hours I had worked, unsanitary conditions to work in - there was no hand soap in the bathroom for a week, refrigerator was filthy and never cleaned, heater in staff room had broken legs, clothes steamer leaked and unsafe, had to eat lunch in stock room with piles of boxes and no room, colleagues' morale terrible, unprofessional manager backbiting about team members, then nice to their faces, work rota only given a couple of days before, lack of respect - area manager and CEO visited and did not acknowledge any members of staff apart from the manager. Little staff welfare - a small thing perhaps, but no tea, coffee or milk provided for staff. Little things like this make a difference to staff morale. Happy team = better salespeople.
