Pros

A fully remote work policy is allowed, and that's about it...

Cons

At Catena, you are NEVER safe from being let go, regardless of your productivity, dedication, or hard work. Catena Media has been plagued by an endless series of cost-cutting measures that have already resulted in dozens, if not hundreds, of redundancies. As a former Country Manager, I was allocated a laughable budget of €2,500 per month to tackle a 70-million-person market. What can you realistically achieve with such limited resources? Tell me... The previous CEO implemented disastrous strategies that drained the company of both talent and credibility. Sadly, the newly appointed CEO appears poised to finalize the company’s downfall (recent months have proven this, with thirty more employees being made redundant in Q4 2024). Despite repeated assurances that "no more layoffs will occur," history has shown this to be a hollow promise. As is often the case in today’s society, it’s the "small" people who pay the price for the incompetence of those at the top. The very leaders who created this mess leave the consequences of their failures to fall squarely on the shoulders of loyal, hard-working employees.
