Great benefits, unpredictable management - Insurance Agent Catalyst360° Employee Review

Pros

Lots of paid time off, decent health insurance and other benefits

Cons

Management often changes rules, guidance, procedures with little notice. The "quality" scoring doesn't measure the quality of your work, instead rules are enforced erratically and often in ways that are contrary to written procedures (and you don't get to contest their decisions). Very high stress job.

Pros

Only good reason to work here is that they start out with an hourly wage a little higher than most companies and they have decent health insurance

Cons

very inflexible. I got written up for leaving during a snowstorm to pick up my baby from daycare when they were closing the daycare because I didn't have time in my bank. If they could chain you to your desk, they would. Have seen many people very, very ill working in the office because they were afraid of getting written up if they left, myself included. Most of management stands around talking to each other all day while they continue to micro manage the workers and question every time you put a customer on hold or take a bathroom break. A ridiculous place to work, most of the employees there are on anxiety medication. They told me to go on FMLA for my migraines and anxiety then fired me as soon as I forgot to to get once absence approved through FMLA. Horrible place to work. They also knowingly sold confusing plans to senior citizens and advised us to not answer certain questions about those plans unless we were asked an exact question. They eventually had to take those plans off the market which hurt a lot of peoples paychecks as well. They also told me I would make more money going into sales instead of customer service when I was already making 500.00 per month in bonuses. I did it and the Sales incentive you get was never even close to what I was making then they wouldn't let me go back to service. Liars. if AARP knew how they really treated their employees, they would pull the plug.
