The students are incredible—resilient, curious, and full of potential. * The majority of the staff are dedicated, hardworking, and supportive of one another.

* The administration creates an extremely toxic and demoralizing work environment. * Across three administrative changes during my time, there was a consistent lack of trust and support for teachers. The first admin was disengaged from elementary, and the two that followed were actively harmful to morale—micromanaging, making harsh assumptions without classroom observations, and leading with fear rather than collaboration. * Teachers are not valued professionally or personally. Loyalty, transparency, and respect are consistently absent. * The culture is top-down, punitive, and devoid of genuine care for staff well-being or student-centered leadership. * Students are often treated harshly, and empathy is lacking in how discipline and relationships are handled by admin.
