Pros

Great spot for data science. Relaxed environment. Flexibility. Ability to develop or explore concepts. Sky should be limit. Monopoly in niche space.

Cons

Mostly everything else. Best employees voluntarily leaving, especially in last 30/44 days. Layoffs are troubling to rest of employee base but after 200+ let go , haven’t noticed a meaningful difference in work - no clue what these 200+ did - but morale is poor. Layoffs primarily hit lifers who manually run code or manage meetings. PE is sucking blood out of company. There is no funding for anything and Moody’s recently downgraded company to junk status - which most employees don’t even know. This is result of lack of hires top tech talent resulting in catastrophic delays and deployment of solutions to market in iterative fashion. Lack of investment in IT and top talent in IT strangles advancement in analytics solutions. Most long timers / lifers have great institutional knowledge but that’s it and block advancements with modern IT / analytics solutions and innovative strategies by this is the way it’s always been done logic. This mentality contributes to relaxed environment as they are just cruising away without any sense of ownership. Also - titles are meaningless. You could be senior director, an analyst , or a manager - and still do the same thing. Titles are a reflection of length of employment or age more so of what you actually do. Future is not bright as again top talent leaves after being hurt by lack of ambition around them. Financial situation brought upon by catastrophic IT project delays is beginning to boil the pot - many of the frogs in this pot don’t realize it yet though.

Pros

Great people, good systems and software, rewarding business goals, and generally heard across teams and departments.

Cons

Occasional gaps across departments due to size and scale across the US and over seas.

Pros

Fully remote, great work life balance, unlimited PTO (that management encourages you to use), down to earth staff (we all know we’re not saving lives here). There’s a reason people leave and come back all the time. Many employees have been here 10+ years. There is encouragement to move departments if you’d like (not so much internationally). Pay is decent but you can absolutely make more elsewhere. They provide a decent severance package if (when) you get laid off.

Cons

Culture has plummeted in the last 5 years and NOT due to Covid/remote work. Leadership completely gave up on DEI, frequent layoffs. It’s a decent place to be if you survive layoffs but it feels like musical chairs waiting for your turn. I’ve seen people who’ve worked here as long as I’ve been alive get let go right before Christmas. Your manager and seller(s) make or break your experience as an AM (previously customer success manager). Bad manager = no career progression, no advocate for raises/promotions, no direct support. Bad seller = no work life balance, inter-office conflict, negative reviews from seller will impact your annual review.
