The Pay. That was pretty much the only positives. The owners were OK guys, but I never actually got to do what I was hired for.

Laid off without any warning.

At Castra you’re free to choose, in everything. You choose how much you work, how much you get paid, how long your vacation is, what bonuses you want. That’s why there are no set bonuses or salary is not astronomical always because it’s up to yourself to decide.

You might put a lot of pressure on yourself to work and maybe not prioritize time off since you want to keep those debitable hours up. However, there is no pressure from management to do so. It can also be scary if you’re between assignments since you yourself have to build a buffer to keep getting payed or you’ll be without income while searching.
