Interesting work but demanding - Superintendent Cashman Employee Review

the culture this company has built is unlike any place i have ever been. starting with the interview process they make you feel welcome offer coffee, water a snack etc. the office in Quincy has refreshments every part of the building, a gym, office dogs. It's a work place that i enjoy coming to every day. The leaders do an excellent job taking care of everyone. Pay is very competitive and reasonable. the compensation fits the work load very nicely. don't even get me started on the perks. this place gives away sporting event tickets, weekend getaways in Maine and Vermont, Marha's Vineyard. Also have a castle in Ireland. Coming over to Cashman has been the best decision I have ever made and I never take it for granted.

All the best people leave. This is masked by HR covering for management because they fear for their own positions and make excuses like "these are high turnover positions". Senior management have a wierd viewpoint on who should get promoted and the skills needed to lead and manage people. Most of the recent reviews on here are fake from HR trying to make things look better than they are. There is a toxic culture that leads to gossiping at the highest levels, a boys club type atmosphere, poor morale and people just stick around for the pay which is good, many would leave if they could. Go here if you want your career to die slowly.
