Pros

Your pay is tolerable Your benefits are good Incentives are good if you last Your leads do not stress you out

Cons

The place is a battlefield- They have waged a war on middle management, literally Jack Dorsey stated this publicly several times. Mind you I hit my KPIs BUT they move the goal post EVERY 3-5 months. Being good at your job wont save you either. They see this department as a cost with little benefits, they invest very little and intentionally do not give you all the resources you need. Its straight up sabotage. They simply want an AI ran/ AI first company BUT that is NOT what customers want. So they kerp us around to treat us poorly so we will want to leave. Its cruel and unnecessary. Cash App is a great company but unfortunately all they care about is their margins and shareholders.

Pros

Accrued PTO pretty quickly, lax job environment (cursing is fine on Slack, for example), loved my teammates. GREAT salary and benefits, which is the only reason I've scored 2 stars instead of 1.

Cons

We were constantly subject to the whims of Jack Dorsey with company-wide ramifications and minimal basis in reality (if you've ever watched Glass Onion, he feels like Ed Norton's character). The different verticals do not communicate with each other, often resulting in duplicative or contradictory work processes. Some teams have superiority complexes over others, which results in a hostile work environment and impedes collaboration. The company is leaning fully into AI without caring about the environmental or people impact (case in point: 4000 people being laid off for an AI tool that still is not working correctly). Upper management won't spend money to license/invest in useful tools, leaving lower agents to rely on Google for sources of truth or outright refusing to serve certain communities because it's too much hassle to accommodate them.
