Pros

Free tea & coffee, close to transport links

Cons

Disgusting atmosphere, shallow management & support, cramped office and the unofficial "hierarchy" is built on office politics. 12 hour days despite a normal full-time contract.

Pros

Cartwright James was an excellent place to work, with amazing incentives and staff days out. They make you feel truly like a part of the team and the company has a real 'family feel' with all staff being the most competitive people but also the nicest individuals. Each and every one of them being a friend I would happily meet out of work and not just a colleague. Training is plentiful and staff have a real voice for change in the office. This role offers salary progression at an unparalleled rate. If you are successful, your base salary will increase accordingly. The new office space is fantastic in a prime location with great facilities.

Cons

It may take a while to be paid bonuses. Cartwright James have an amazing Finance team, but are understaffed in this department. Work/Life balance is the only real negative to this role. The role is very demanding with long long hours. Which may be a strain on relationships.

Pros

Cartwright James is a perfect job for ambitious graduates that are looking to grow quickly with high earnings. You are given extensive training, support and opportunity to gain the key skills you need to develop in a sales career. I left after 2 years and the skills i developed led me into Medical Device sales. The culture is second to none with it being a young energetic office. Every 4th Friday the company have a half day, go out of the office doing different activities which mainly involve having a meal and lots of drinks on the company. They offer lots of incentives including an opportunity for top performers to go away with the company for a few days and lottttts of cash incentives. And also a great day out at York races for everyone.

Cons

Fast paced, long hours - but if your a hardworking graduate you will see the benefits!
