Pros
Good pay, good equipment, good friendly dock workers, great check in and out system, fast paced job, trailers 90% always ready.
Cons
Runs setup is conflicting. Some are bided on and some are not. Times change alot between month to month, management doesn't show any concern about employees. Carter Indy during orientation preaches 5s, lean manufacturing and across the board systems. Here at KCD they have a good olé boy system. Rules and systems only apply to a select few. Every driver is treated different. I loved the company as a whole but since I live near KCD hub I am thinking about leaving.
