Business outlook
Pros
Very small team means a greater opportunity to become fully engaged in projects. There is a potential for a family-atmosphere if you fit in. There was never an expectation to work more than 40 hours.
Cons
Old-school culture. Your days of flexible hours are over. The tendency of staff is to stay away from the latest software if at all possible. They would still be using drafting boards if it was feasible. Also, the pay is likely less than what you would make closer into Washington, DC.
