Pros

Some of the front line people really do care about their customers.

Cons

Exceedingly poor work life balance. Management is in way over their heads. Not unusual to go without a comp plan for 5 to 6 months of the year without an opportunity to earn back commissions. Senior sales leaders are fired often after as little as 10 months. They completely change sales strategy every year. Marketing department doesn’t understand their industry or how to drive sales. They don’t innovate; they buy innovative companies and then drive them into the ground, or they buy failing companies like GE security and then leave the management in place. Management’s ego won’t allow them to hear from anyone “below” them in terms of ideas.
