Pros
- Few good collegues, if lucky - Generous homeworking policy ( at the price of extreme micromanagement! )
Cons
- Poor salary compared to sector average. - Instability : High staff turnover, months without CEO, managers leaving,... - Micromangement : Management will monitor your Teams activity to the extreme while working, asking you to explain even 15 mins of idle time. - ZERO Flexibility in terms of work hours. Work doesn't matter as much, formalities like 9 to 5 does. - Management calls you on private nr. to spy on you if you're idle for a short time during work hours at home. - IT test department and major part of Business Department refusing to speak English, which is the standard in IT.... - Extreme meeting culture : Plethora of meetings, many of which repeat the same things. Ppt presentations for everything, lots of blabla. Expect 3-4hr meetings a day, in French most likely... - 'Meeting Tigers' who like to talk a lot, but little work is done. - Every meeting is considered required and you will be judged for even missing 1. Missing even one is considered as 'bad teamspirit'.
