Pros

Great benefits, opportunities for advancement, work is fulfilling While I worked there, I had full health insurance with vision and dental, and the plans were good enough to cover my weird allergies. The company promotes internally, so even starting part time can get you to full time, spiritual care, counseling or supervisor. If you care about making a difference in people's lives, but still try to be realistic about your impact, this place could work for you.

Cons

I wish I was the only one to say this, but this is a company that is either for or against you. If you fit in and do what you're told, you can go far. But if you don't...you won't make it 6 months. Many many people who work here are recovering addicts, so being one yourself will give you a big leg up in the hiring process. The workplace is very tight and even a little cliquey. It's a place where your friends matter more than your job title. I entered as the company was restructuring my division, and it was clear that training me was not a priority. I was put in the middle of two warring factions with different ideas on how to run the unit. My attempts to ask for help were muffled, and I was severely punished for my inevitable mistakes. I have been accused of lying and was even put on administrative leave for a while until HR cleared me. I was told openly that I did not fit in for being young, educated, and not a drug addict in recovery, and many people were happy to see me go when I quit just after 6 months.
