Pros

- I received fantastic training under a great boss from whom I learned a ton, and picked up skills that I still use to this day. - Everyone there is very passionate about the performing arts, and free tickets to world class concerts were one of the best perks.

Cons

- Below market salaries. Seriously, I don't even know how some of my former colleagues are still working there. I suspect that a lot of them come from well-off families that they don't have to worry about finances but for me personally, the low salary was completely unsustainable. They don't even offer 401(k) for their employees. - Promotions (even vanity promotions) are not linear and really depends on who your supervisor is. Some supervisors tend to promote their team without being prompted, some (like mine) needed to be asked. - No room for growth unless you get really lucky and the person above you leaves. - The director of my department made racial micro-aggressive remarks which made me want to leave. I don't want to work for someone like that, ever. - Don't bother working here if you're a minority. You get treated differently.

Pros

- Most people are committed to the organization and are nice and capable - The organization is fair and generous in benefits, time-off and respecting personal time - The office space is very nice

Cons

- Transactional management style- There is a complete lack of career focus even in important roles. Management was only focused on the task at hand, not mentorship or career development - The review process, an important career milestone, was treated as a formality only. Reviews were often overlooked or not done entirely - Consistent professional warmth and feel good moments were lacking -Lack of career progression and goal-setting made high achievers feel stagnant and not acknoledged
