I was an AGM at a restaurant. You are treated like dirt, working 70+ hours a week, if you’re sick you have your holiday put through instead of sick Pay. For this reason, the staff work when they are unwell still. No one cares...
Money missing constantly so the team had to cover it. The staff are stretched so much but no one above cared. They closed many restaurants and didn’t tell the staff until 2 days before closing! They do not care about the “family” they bang on about. The company don’t want to encourage breaks so the poor staff have the time deducted from their shifts, even when they’re working 15 hour shifts!!
At the end of everything they will spit you out, no matter who you are.
