Pros

Originally let people do what they were hired for and then it suddenly changed their business plan and expected you to get in step and change your career path to follow their goals. Goals often temporary.

Cons

Several Senior Leaders were bullies.

Pros

Very nice people, benefits are good in comparison to other companies in the area, company seems to have good values

Cons

Some managers are good and mentor their employees. Others, however, are awful and have no business being managers. My manager was the latter. She manages employees at two locations, however she splits her time 95%/5% between those two locations, so there is a huge disconnect with half of her team. As a result, my manager had no idea what I did all day, and how completely different my job duties were vs those of my peers at another location. My manager played favorites - badly - to the point where it directly impacted my family and the time I (couldn't) spend with them. Managers often buried their heads in the sand when problems were prevalent. Example: one of my peers habitually played with her Facebook account during department meetings. Apparently this behavior began years before I started working at Carlisle, however my manager told me that it was my job to coach my peer on this and other unacceptable behavior that she displayed. Peer-to-peer Counseling is fine, but I don't think that it's my job to coach a peer on how not to be dishonest, entitled, and unprofessional. That is a management discussion. I often found myself wondering what I had done to deserve such treatment from a manager. I also witnessed a production floor supervisor treating front like employees in a despicable manner. From berating people to acting completely insensitive. Once, I witnessed this person using racially insensitive language.
