Pros

All founding members of the organization have left including their tech, product and Co-founder. Well that is a good pro to understand how useless Shronit is !!

Cons

The founder Shronit claims to be very honest but is a FRAUD who has even received LEGAL NOTICE from his employees for not paying them their salaries and bonuses. I was asked to buy out my notice period by the founder which is not at all ethical. Fake promises, You will never get your incentives. Salary is always late and there is no consideration by the founder for that. Best part is the founder will keep certain part of your salary accumulated and give it at the end of year as bonus !! wow The will promise big roles and responsibilities to attract talent but I guess NOT more than 1 member has stayed here till date after seeing how fake the commitments are. I have seen the founder mentally frustrating employees when they wish to leave.

Hello, Thank you for your review. We take our reviews very seriously, so here’s our response to all your false allegations. Firstly, CareerNinja is and has always been a single founder company, there never was any co-founder, so you are completely wrong there. Similarly, we’ve never had a tech lead position & our product lead is very much a part of the company and a key part at that. Our salaries are in our teams bank account on or before the 1st of every month and each employee would vouch for that. Also a yearly/retention bonus is something that is standard practice in many organisations and is only incorporated after it is pre-discussed and agreed on by the candidate. There are enough and more current and past employees who can vouch for our founders integrity. On the other hand, a start-up (as very well known by everyone today) is a competitive space, it requires certain level of speed and naturally that causes pressure and also growth. You may be one of the people that may not have been a great fit in that regard and hence things may not have worked out. It is wrong though to defame a perfectly great organisation for your inabilities. To end, your use of words like “fraud” “scam” etc for a company that is backed by global VCs & CXOs of Flipkart, PayU, Google, Uber, etc, trusted by 1 Lakh+ users & has more than 500+ partners, just shows your immaturity and inauthenticity. We wish you the best in your career regardless :)

Pros

People here are obsessed with coffee.

Cons

One of the most disappointing things about this company was seeing how little long-term employees are valued when it comes to compensation. Recently got to know that freshers or people with barely internship-level or around 1 year of experience are being offered packages close to 17 LPA because certain roles are currently in demand. At the same time, employees who have spent 3+ years contributing to the company, taking ownership, mentoring juniors, and staying loyal are still not even close to 12 LPA. This is not about freshers getting good salaries — everyone deserves to be paid well. The real issue is the huge gap between what the company is willing to pay new hires versus what it is willing to pay the people who have already spent years building and supporting the organization. After a point, it becomes difficult not to question whether loyalty and consistent contribution actually matter here. Experienced employees slowly start feeling overlooked and undervalued while external hiring seems to be prioritized much more. A company cannot expect people to stay motivated long-term when internal employees constantly feel like they are worth less than someone joining from outside with far less experience. I genuinely hope current employees take time to understand their market value, ask the right questions, and make informed decisions for their own growth.
