Pros

Remote position; able to work on your own schedule.

Cons

Owner also manages DSP for Amazon with exceedingly high turnaround; constantly hiring. Focus should be directly on developing the staffing agency side. Other family runs the staffing. Problems arise daily, constantly putting out desk fires regarding account management with client, the one and only client they serve which they're probably about to loose, with no sound direction causing confusion and irresponsibility. Management skills are lacking, recruiter accountability is lacking and they don't have an idea of what a good candidate should look like because they don't have proper vetting techniques like reference checks or resume revisions, interview coaching, etc. They don't know how to find a qualified candidate using their (lack of) knowledge in the ATS system or job boards subscriptions they have. Any advice gets completely ignored and written off. They come from money but only know how to spend it. Quota requirement of 10+ PLACEMENTS a month is unrealistic compared to market standards, especially if you want to source quality candidates. Based on contract income minus job board and ATS subscriptions (about $110/month which is entirely too expensive compared to other brands out there btw, especially since they can't incorporate all the features correctly) and onboarding costs (typical drug screen and background check, domestically run around $150 if your contracted with a vendor) do not equate to the 10+ monthly placements per recruiter requirement. Further breakdown of this from the employer for full transparency should be required. Again, sourcing correctly will reduce costs of 'drop offs'. Position has no benefits, no PTO and nothing to hope for. Bare min. hourly for 50-60hrs worth of work you can only bill 40hrs/week for.

Pros

I don't even know where to begin for my love for this company. This is a family oriented and inclusive environment. They give you the flexibility to come up and test new recruiting tactics and allow everyone a chance to feel and be heard. The Director of Operations is open to all new suggestions and will even work alongside of you to make sure she's there in any way needed. By far one of my favorite companies, I have ever worked for they've earned themselves a permeant employee. I could never imagine leaving.

Cons

The company itself is awesome, I wish hiring managers would be more responsive at times, but I've encountered this issue at all agencies I've worked for prior to here.
