Pros

Fully remote positions offer good work-life flexibility. Competitive and adequate compensation packages.

Cons

- Infrastructural Overhead: The organization is top-heavy with a disproportionate number of leadership roles relative to production staff, leading to disjointed management strategies. - Extensive Employee Surveillance: High-level monitoring via Microsoft 365 metrics tracks every interaction, message, and meeting, creating a culture that prioritizes activity tracking over actual output. - Offshoring Reliance: A significant amount of core development work is being offshored to European teams solely as a cost-cutting measure, which complicates collaboration and fragments product knowledge. - Over-reliance on AI & Technical Debt: Leadership heavily pushes for the integration of generative AI tools to replace engineering talent. This results in broken, non-functional code being pushed to production just to meet artificial deadlines and please executives. - Disconnect from Executive Leadership: While top executives present an outward-facing image of caring about employee well-being, the actual corporate strategy centers on aggressive cost-cutting, layoffs, and attempting to substitute human engineers with automated tools.
