Pros

Working at CE has completely changed my perspective on what is possible in the "corporate world", in no other company have I been able to create my own role based on my interests, be so flexible with my time, and have continuous conversations on topics such as innovation, personal/professional development, work/life balance, the healthcare system, etc

Cons

Lack of structure can be difficult for anyone but I think it comes down to advocation for yourself and taking the time and energy to find your place.

Pros

If you are looking to work with intelligent, self-motivated group of people who are passionate about improving health research and care, CE is for you. Incredible team, excellent work/life balance, interesting projects and partners that will keep you engaged in the work, and unmatched compensation package.

Cons

The lack of structure and feedback can be difficult for some people, so if you are someone who works best in more structured environments this might not be the place for you.

Pros

There's tons of talk about the flat org, I would have thrived if it were not for the cons. If you know how to navigate and play this specific type of corporate/ people chess, you'll thrive.

Cons

I was brought on to support the marketing and sales function, but the problem is... they hardly sold anything and marketing was dated and dictated. People are singled out as "blockers" for disagreeing with approach and whoever convinces the CEO first, wins. If it happens enough times, you'll be let go without cause, without warning, without any feedback or opportunity to speak to your POV or adjust to work better together. That's not a positive culture in any way. That's not a high-functioning flat org.
