Pros
CareCentrix was moving towards remote work before COVID hit and fully embraced it once everyone was forced to go remote. There are some functions that have to be in the office, but many are permanently remote and I believe the company has adapted well and works efficiently that way. The culture in my department is genuinely people-first and it offers good work life balance. We work late when we need to, but when things are slower there is more flexibility that average, which is great. It's a very common sense approach.
I also like that teams work together collaboratively without a lot of politics. That is probably the main reason I have worked here as long as I have.
Cons
With Walgreens as the new owner, we are now part of a large publically traded company, which does change some of our strategic initiatives. I can't say it's a bad thing so far, but it does make me wonder where we are going in the future.

None really, was just bummed about how it ended. Upeer leadership was very transparent about what the dept future was heading towards though, so I appreciate it

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re pleased to hear you found value in our benefits and compensation, and that these positively impacted your time with us.
We also appreciate your recognition of our leadership team’s transparency. Open communication is important to us, especially during times of change. While it’s never easy when a chapter ends, we appreciate your contributions and wish you continued success in the future.
Flexible scheduling with no set times for breaks or lunches
Opportunities for renegotiation and open communication about work terms
Availability of financial assistance and room & board support in the event of a catastrophic disaster
Cons
Barely any overtime; if overtime is available, you must be approved, placed on a list, and selected — and selection is rare
Heavy micromanagement throughout the day
Constant check-ins are required to receive work assignments
Failure to respond immediately can result in being pulled into a one-on-one meeting
No flexibility to work at your own pace; management controls when and how fast you work
There are 10 different processes, each with roughly 20 steps, which can be overwhelming
Processes frequently change, making them difficult to keep up with
You are expected to constantly reference the DLP to avoid missing steps
Missing a single step requires reworking the entire task, even if 40 minutes to an hour was already spent on it
