Pros

Helping the young people, building positive relationships with them. Having fun and participating in activities in and out of the home. Staff Members are are very helpful and friendly, tight support network. Get to help and aid the young people through their struggles and and when they are comfortable they will open up and ask for advice and support.

Cons

At times where their is struggles with staffing it can be challenging organising and ensuring everyone has time to do office work and catching up on important things. The behaviour of the young people can be difficult at times and can become overwhelming. Sometimes long shifts occur due to emergencies/sickness etc so you can become exhausted if you dont take care of yourself.
