Cardon Outreach

Is this your company?

Cardon Outreach provides an insurmountable amount of work with very little compensation to survive on. - Patient Advocate Cardon Outreach Employee Review

Pros

It's a job, you work 40 hours a week and they provide you with a paycheck. Cardon Outreach can provide a new employee with experience working with patients and clients at local and regional hospitals. Administrative and organizational skills are a must and can be perfected as a Patient Advocate.

Cons

Wages are low, medical and dental benefits are poor (a bit ironic considering the company contracts with some of the nation's top hospitals), and company moral is low. It only takes new employees a few months to realize that the systems Cardon Outreach has in place for obtaining client accounts, following up with patients, and submitting Medicaid applications to state are horrible. The client gets what the clients wants (client meaning the hospital you work for) which makes sense to a certain extent. However, to the Patient Advocate, this can translate to no matter how unreasonable the request or the amount of time involved you must get the job done. The insurmountable amount of work does not line up with the expectations for working accounts or the low wages.
