Pros
Cardinal is good for recent college grads. It gives them enough exposure while learning some very basic skills.
Cons
Where to begin: As my title suggest Cardinal is a glorified staffing firm who so wants to be a consulting firm but can't because they get in their own way. There is absolutely NO thought as to where you will be assigned. As long as you're a warm body and can physically go to a client, you're on the project. You don't have the skills to perform the duties for the project/client? You don't want your career to go in that direction? To bad you're going to a project/client and you better make the best of it. Having been with Cardinal for 3.5 years I can't say for sure what their business model is and truth be told I don't think that management knows their model either. If you're looking for career growth and opportunities, Cardinal is NOT the place for you. Many good people have left or will be leaving soon because there is no direction/guidance from management. Cardinal is truly a sinking ship and I'd be surprised if they are around for another 5 - 7 years.
