Pros

If you are a software engineer- you will have lots of freedom/ encouragement/ support in how/where you want to do your daily work. Can work from home. Provide food on Tuesdays and Fridays. Snacks in the office are ok. Office ladies are nice and try really hard. Decent Benefits. 2 free plans, Lots of options to choose from. Dental is bundled with vision and is very expensive which sucks. Decent 401k match. Not very busy because business is slow so not very stressful.

Cons

If you don't work an actively billing position you will be held to different employment standards than the engineers. The CEO (not howdy) needs to get out of the way of this company. He is a major choke point and blockage. The company can't make decisions in a timely manner, there is a ton of micromanagement, and terrible communication. There is no top-down leadership, the leaders and former owners only care about how much money they can get in their pockets not how to help effectively grow the business. They also don't care about mitigating potentially toxic team environments and will play favorites. This leads to bad dynamics. It was recently sold to a Vietnamese company and the culture and investment in the employees by the current C-suite has gone down the toilet since then. I have seen them treat women poorly as compared to the men on staff. Women should be cautious about joining this place-it's not a place they appreciate or let women thrive from what i've seen. You will also be given more work for less pay than a man from what I've seen. No opportunity for advancement- it's a flat structure. With the acquisition opportunities for forward growth are even more limited than before which is very disappointing to find out. No real review system that actually does anything. Raises never match inflation, salaries are low for the industry but the expectations are excessively high for what is being paid. If you are a junior engineer don't even apply. They only want people with 10+ years of experience and they don't want to train people. If someone leaves you will likely have to take their work on for no additional pay. No diversity. Mostly older white men (majority of whom are nice). Very few women.
