So many issues! - Maintenance Porter Cardinal Group Companies Employee Review

Pros

Co-Workers Rent discount 401K Hazard pay

Cons

Failure to file federal taxes. Violating tax law by modifying employees W4. Company fails to pay vendors or overdue balances. Low pay compared to local market. Paystub access. PTO. Portfolio managers will withhold funds for tenant events in order to get a better bonus. Getting ahold of HR is nearly impossible. HR is unresponsive. Won't take a chance on an employee of 5 years. Cardinal would not promote someone due to missing certifications even though they acknowledged the classes are full. Cannot get in touch with corporate. Corporate email and phone number on website do not work. Will continue to tax you for your employee discount even after you move out. No on the job training provided. Willful negligence in building repairs.

Pros

Amazing company and amazing people I have had the pleasure of meeting this is my dream career and I am so happy to be apart of Cardinal i started as a leasing agent and worked my way up and it was very rewarding.

Cons

None honestly please know you will have to work hard of course but it’s definitely worth it.

- Room for growth and promotions - Job security - Most of your coworkers are easy to work with

Cons

- Work life balance: depends on who your white label is and if you work strictly for cardinal they have a better work life balance. - Turnover rate in corporate - Learn as you go / 0 training in every role unless if you have a good manager - CYA mentality - High expectations / sometimes unrealistic goals - When corporate comes into town they are never hands on due to having too many meetings in a day
