Working part-time as an intern definitely has the potential to feel as though you are disconnected from the larger organization, I can completely empathize with that. As an intern early in my career, I often felt as though the temporary nature of my role was relatively insignificant when in reality, you as a student/resident TM are truly the most valuable member of the team. Let's be honest, in the context of student housing, you are literally our client. I'm hoping that if you choose to return to Cardinal or seek full-time work with us here, you'll see that through our summer development programs, Intern career fairs, and career mapping sessions, we're serious about laying out the potential for a career in this industry.
