Working part-time as an intern definitely has the potential to feel as though you are disconnected from the larger organization, I can completely empathize with that. As an intern early in my career, I often felt as though the temporary nature of my role was relatively insignificant when in reality, you as a student/resident TM are truly the most valuable member of the team. Let's be honest, in the context of student housing, you are literally our client. I'm hoping that if you choose to return to Cardinal or seek full-time work with us here, you'll see that through our summer development programs, Intern career fairs, and career mapping sessions, we're serious about laying out the potential for a career in this industry. Until then, best of luck in all you do.

Pros

I love working here. I feel lucky that I am able to work on projects I love and work with people who encourage me.

Cons

Sometimes change comes in waves- big rollouts all at once feel overwhelming but I understand that happens sometimes!

Pros

- Room for growth and promotions - Job security - Most of your coworkers are easy to work with

Cons

- Work life balance: depends on who your white label is and if you work strictly for cardinal they have a better work life balance. - Turnover rate in corporate - Learn as you go / 0 training in every role unless if you have a good manager - CYA mentality - High expectations / sometimes unrealistic goals - When corporate comes into town they are never hands on due to having too many meetings in a day
