Pros
As one of the new engineers at Cardano it’s one of those chance of a lifetime jobs to take an established company with a whole new business, so more like a startup, and be part of the future. I am part of the engineering of a new platform to be a modern web based, big data, API driven, open source environment and re-engineering ourselves to be active participants in the technical community. All this with complete support and encouragement from the top. The people are the most friendly I have ever worked with and there is still the small firm culture. My first week everyone came by to chat and socially I don't think there has been a week where we did not go out. Unlike my previous jobs the work life balance is great with opportunity for personal time like going to the gym etc. I am putting in hours but only because I am enjoying it so much, it is my choice. I actually jump out of bed in the morning now.

I really cannot see any at this stage other than if you don't like change.
