Pros

Can somewhat choose your hours and you work from home. Fellow EPs are supportive. Lead EPs very caring and supportive.

Cons

Company will not pay you for 2 months after your start date. Low pay, high patient load, upwards of 50-60+ patients that you’re dealing with alone. Unrealistic KPI expectations. You better be good at task management or you’ll drown. Employees will offer help in meetings and then not help you when you actually ask, because everyone is drowning in work. No downtime to finish tasks and important paperwork, or make calls and faxes. Difficult to provide education to the patient population who really needs it. Difficult because you’re expected to have way too many patients at once, and do their sessions and education in a timely manner. Burnout was incredibly real and never ending as the patient load is just so incredible. Be prepared to help all patients with technology over the phone as it’s a population who is not tech savvy. This also delays patient care and takes away from their education. This is NOT a job you can continue for the long haul. Sketchy protocols and I’m terrified that working here will implement me legally somehow, despite always giving my best. No benefits as you’re hired on as a 1099. They state you have the ability to be hired on as a W2 after 3 months of working for the company, however it’s never guaranteed so please be aware of the fact that they may never make you a W2 employee. Horrible work to life balance and be prepared to change how things are ran every single week. Also, be prepared to find out the changes through messages because staff meetings are held during your patient sessions. Will also not issue your final paycheck until all your work from home equipment is returned, so be prepared to wait a while for that. Overall frustrating experience, not supportive company, bad pay and benefits, zero work-to-home life balance.

Pros

My experience at Carda Health since day 1 has been nothing short of great! The onboarding process was very smooth and thorough, all of the employee are very welcoming/informative, and the management goes above and beyond to make sure their staff is taken care of. Not only is it a joy working alongside a great clinical staff, but it is very rewarding working with each and every patient you come across. I look forward to my future with Carda Health and I’m so happy to be apart of such a great company!

Cons

No cons for me at Carda Health.

Pros

Flexibility and a rare WFH clinical job especially as a clinical exercise physiologist

Cons

Pay could be a lot better for the amount of hours required. Oversharing personal details is common and blurs the work life balance. Leadership may not be entirely experienced with managing groups and sometimes it feels unorganized. It’s a fast paced job and depending on who you are it can be easy to feel overwhelmed.
