Being on-demand, the work can ebb and flow. However, expectations are clear from day one. I would imagine most individuals in the Carbon Design ecosystem view this as a strong positive.

Needs to be engaging and successful for client—— always. • Makes the Gig Economy and work/life balance real by bringing in the right talent to bear on the right projects at the right time. • The deadlines are the deadlines and how you get there is totally up to you. You are fully responsible for your own time management which really is a wonderful way of working allowing for a great balance between the responsibilities of life and family and the work. • Not to be redundant but merely to stress, there is no "just throw people on the project". All projects are thoughtfully staffed to make sure each client project has the best and right people on it.

• Very little physical, face-to-face time working together. The distance between people can be challenging at certain moments in projects when it is way more convenient to walk down the hall and speak to someone or sit in a room and brainstorm ideas. It happens but not as often as needed.
