Thank you for your review, and we’re sorry that you didn’t have a good experience. We have found that in general, our employees have had a positive experience with the company and our management staff. We feel that our turnover is in line with industry standards, however we always strive to make improvements. I’m sorry you felt the HR Department was unresponsive; we do our best to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours. Our company is constantly evaluating our policies and procedures, and we are confident that our Collections staff is handling customer accounts appropriately.
In regard to time off, we have always allowed time within the first year for certain circumstances and/or positions, and we recently changed our time off policy in September 2015 to provide even more time. Our vacation policy depends on your position, and no employee goes longer than 6 months without beginning to accrue vacation. Many employees start accruing time immediately.
We did recently move into a new, state of the art corporate headquarters. With this, as with any move, there are growing pains. In our lunchroom we have added a second microwave and refrigerator. We aren’t aware of any issues with the bathrooms, but they are all in working order currently. You are right about the trash cans; we do not provide trash cans at employee workstations because our company handles very confidential information so we provide shredding bins around the office instead (there are also trash cans for non-paper trash). In regard to parking, unfortunately, we are located in the city of Chicago and like most small businesses, there is limited private parking. There is however plenty of free street parking available where you will not get ticketed.
