Pros

You can create your own schedule, structured supervision, and can do a lot of work from home (could also be a bad thing because of work/life balance)

Cons

I would never recommend anyone to work for this company. They give you in-home referrals but do not pay for your mileage or anything, you could probably give these referrals back if you didn't want them but there is an unspoken expectation that you have to do in-home. Most therapists do not get their own offices and have to share a space with several other therapists, with minimal computers so you can never guarantee one will be available for you to use. You get paid from insurance, which is slow and inconsistent. I never knew how much my checks would be because you only get paid for direct client sessions and no paperwork or other duties. If a client doesn't show or you drive to their home and they are not there despite sending reminders and receiving confirmation, you also do not get paid. I wasted so much time driving 25+ minutes to a client home just to have them not be there, by the time I got home I wasted over an hour of my time and did not get paid. They offer to reimburse your cell phone (like $30/month I believe) but you would not get this benefit if you weren't averaging 24 client's/week, which is hard with cancellations and no-shows, so they encourage you to "stack your caseload" which aids in burnout and just isn't fair. Also not a lot of positive reinforcement/encouragement from supervisors and owners. Owners only care about making money. When insurance reimburses, the agency gets a majority of the reimbursement rate. I felt taken advantage of.
