Team work, everyone's friendly, managers understand hard schedules.

Everyone sleeps with one another. The drama is insane. Managers tend to have instant favorites, so promotions are hard if you don't have a personality that instantly clicks with theirs.

A lot of training, support, and food & wine education. The food is great and there is a nice wine list. The owners are nice. There are nice regular customers.

The benefits provided are too expensive for most employees working there. The work-life balance is not great, you have to work a lot of hours to make a livable amount because some shifts you make nothing. (This was prior to the pandemic, they may have changed the pay structure for tips) There will be a lot of pressure to work for other staff. They provide paid vacation but employees need to ask around and beg/pay people to cover their shifts.
