Pros

Great culture - you are encouraged to share ideas, motivated to express yourself and contribute. Amazing benefits, including one of the best pension schemes in the industry. Opportunities for progression, both within the team and with other departments - projects and activities are complex and there is ongoing room for personal and professional development. Genuine people - I have made several friends over the years!

Cons

Not a con at all, but you are challenged often and expected to think outside the box and find solutions to various scenarios. This creates opportunities for growth but also means there is no stagnation - you need to be hungry for knowledge. Your network is key to your success - it's a team effort and that includes other teams and departments. So working solo may only help in the short term. Having an extensive network definitely gives you an advantage to succeed in multiple fronts.

Pros

was open to new ideas

Cons

this is a workplace where contractors are treated separately than full timers. contractors get a different treatment from full timers. monitor they provide a small one, fulltimers get a curved monitor, contractors in one big area assigned to sit. fulltimers have events and contractors arent invited. ergonomic set up they dont provide for working people and most of the people suffer with hand issues because of this , but they silently suffer. i have nver felt this much discriminated before. it is a very corporate cut throat culture basically
