Pros
I have compared Caper with other similar companies in the autonomous checkout area since I have a bunch of friends working at different places in this field. But based on what I heard from them and what I did at Caper, I feel Caper's product is the most practical and viable for retailers. Also, the Caper team is very practical and focusing a lot on products, clients and customers. The team I worked at is solving real problems with a lot of innovations. Caper is also a very product focus company, we build features and technologies to serve real clients and customers. If you work here you would realize the time you devoted to the project can actually pay off down the road. This gives me a very strong sense of achievement comparing to my last several jobs which may sometimes only let me do some prototype work for investors to show off. Apart from the work itself, Caper's people are really nice. Executive teams are very flattened and they set the hiring bar relatively high to ensure the team can perform in high efficiency. People here care about my personal growth in the company a lot and even care about my life when I got into troubles.
Cons
We are always short of people because the company grows too fast. Tho I see we have people constantly joining, it's still a bit slower than the speed the company's business expands. So this makes everyone's responsibility a bit big than expected. However, this is sweet trouble to have as I feel cus it means the company is growing fast and I myself is growing fast too.
