Pros

None, really. It's been an incredibly awful experience and truly a setback in my career.

Cons

Anyone interested in technical roles should avoid this company. You'll do nothing but mindless grunt work (don't believe the "we don't do staff aug" lies. It's the only type of work they can get with most clients). Any form of career growth requires you to be involved in sales and/or account management (which is basically just sales). DE&I is performative at best. There's literally nothing good about working here.

CapTech Response

This is a disheartening review to read. We work with Fortune 500 clients, across a multitude of industries, solving some of their toughest tech challenges. While staff augmentation can be a part of some projects, it is certainly not the bulk of the incredible work we do as a company. Along with expanding skill sets on exciting client work, we have true growth paths for our people, including people management and subject matter expertise. We are tremendously proud of our Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIB) efforts spearheaded by our DIB Council and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) which are supported by our executive leadership and driven by our people. There is nothing performative about the work these dedicated groups are doing at CapTech. You are welcome to reach out to me directly to discuss your concerns. -Katy Apostolides, Managing Director - HR
