Pros
Working with a large group of extremely talented and driven people who are trying to achieve some huge goals is extremely motivating. The company is growing extremely fast so there is a lot of scope to learn, work on new concepts & technologies and of course a huge amount of ownership available to be taken with new projects and teams being created all the time. Culturally, the leadership genuinely care about making Canva a pleasant and inclusive place to work. As well as this, there is a focus on ensuring Canva is a force for good in the world & have put their money where their mouth is with a large number of charitable and sustainability initiatives - a small thing but nice to be part of a company that isnt margin grabbing at every turn!
Cons
Things are moving fast! New projects and teams spin up rapidly and given Canva is still very much in scaling mode, there is not always a process for everything and where there is it sometimes may not be fit for purpose anymore! While this is exciting & a massive opportunity for some people - it may not be everyones cup of tea.
