Upper management expects you to have a "do whatever it takes" attitude and produce amazing work with no time. Deadlines are brutal. They don't care. Rampant politics, promotions and raises are primarily given to those who align themselves with the right people. If you are rude and antagonize people you will go far here. Office leadership does not communicate and will even mislead you to avoid a difficult conversation.
