Pros
Set hours Management was laid back. Most upper management was ex CP and CN guys who didn't agree with the Hunter Harrison way of things. Company was willing to work with you and listen to your ideas.
Cons
Pay was on the low end of the railroad pays scale. No 401k. Health care was awful. All sites were based on contracts. So it was hard to guarantee employment in five years or so.
