Pros
Candeo will always hold a special place in my life. Having to leave there for personal reasons was an emotional and challenging choice. The bonds you form with your teammates is something I have never heard of anywhere else. There is an incredible investment into the culture surrounding en employee experience and there is constant buzz around improvement. Candeo gave me the opportunity to create my own success, while challenging me to try things I've never dreamt I could do. Working on projects, with clients and on agency needs was constantly challenging but very rewarding when you could see the impact you had on someone or an organization. Coming into the office every day was a joy for me. I was excited to see my team members and work together. The clients were generally great to work with. Speaking of, Candeo is quick to "fire" clients that aren't a fit for the agency or the team. They are truly protective of the employee experience.
Cons
There are some classic "growing fast" issues such as miscommunications but the best part is that the issues are not swept under the rug. The leaders are the first to throw themselves under the bus and take responsibility for bumps in the road. Sometimes it can feel if Candeo is too "nice". They give everyone opportunities to succeed, which is great, but can slow down progress. In general, leadership can communicate better about changes and upcoming initiatives. They are quick to answer your questions openly and honestly if you have them, but they could be more proactive. I'd like to see more investment into career development. Again, this happens now, but only for those who ask. Other than that, I really only have positive things to say about my time at Candeo.
