Pros

Formerly; you couldn’t work with any greater experts at the top of their fields; anywhere else. NOWHERE. PERIOD.

Cons

The regime change and transformation from a privately traded stockholder company to a NASDAQ publically traded stockholder company was stupendous. However, the employees that had diligently been working on the frontlines each and everyday shall ultimately become collateral damage as the company has no other predictable future than to accede to total implosion. What happened? It is so very tragic. Esoteric Laboratory Testing and the wealth of information that it provides the Clinician in the Treatment of the afflicted patient, has gone by the wayside. The Insurance Companies and the Government are in bed together; they aspire for our collective demise. Pay your premiums and pay into Social Security; but never EVER have the audacity to submit a claim.

Pros

I'm not actually a former employee...but I had accepted an offer to come in as a contractor. All of the paperwork was done, background and reference checks good, I had a start date and a start time. Then, three days before my scheduled start date, I was told the job was no longer available. The recruiter and I could get no further information, other than it was 'a corner office decision'. Pros: I can only comment on the interview process, which was fine. I believe I could have worked well with the people I talked to.

Cons

I was very concerned about the Glassdoor rating, which was the lowest I had seen for any company in the life sciences industry. The facility looked a little tired; not much investment had been made recently, though they were talking about renovations and expansion. Pulling the job offer three days before my confirmed start date, without a coherent explanation or apology, was inexcusable.
