Pros

Flexible hybrid work model; generous compensation

Cons

Too much pressure and micromanaging. Constantly in meetings that pulled everyone away from doing their job. Often given other people’s work who have quit/been fired

Pros

- Work from home 3 days a week - Excellent collaborative team

Cons

There are unfortunately many cons working at the CFA. The main being senior management. The management team like to refer to themselves as avengers which I found ridiculous. They are extremely unprofessional and have no idea how to manage a team. One thing that I found shocking was how much they fear the CEO. On multiple occasions they would ask us to lie in our meetings in order for the CEO not to flip out. It was a way for them to avoid taking ownership and to save their behinds. Upon my exit, they made several employees cry and leave the company - for faults of their own. Not only this, but the head of Finance was the worst person of them all, he also handled HR which was absolutely horrific. He was inexperienced and incapable of doing so. He wasn’t even qualified to be the department head of finance (he didn’t even have any certifications or the proper education to the job) let alone run HR. Honestly, this place seemed like it would have been a great place to work but when a company asks you to lie - whether to the CEO or paying members (they lied to their members a lot). Avoid at all costs. This is an honest review, I have absolutely no ill will against the company in the slightest. It was a blessing for me to leave. I still know many people working there and they are miserable.
