Micromanaging: the managers visibly do absolutely nothing but expect you to do everything to make sales happen.
Unrealistic goals: a lot of the goals that they bring to the store are outrageous, especially with the amount of traffic that they have coming in and the fact that a lot of of the people coming in are complaining about the current decline in quality of the product.
Low pay: although the pay may seem better compared to a lot of retail jobs, it’s actually really bad when you compare it to other luxury retail stores (as CANADA GOOSE claims to be luxury), considering all the expectations and all the money that brand ambassadors are generating in sales. You’re literally getting paid dust to make millions with no extra incentive for it because the company is cheap and refuses to pay commission.
Unqualified managers: the managers there don’t seem to know what they’re doing and seem not to have a qualifications for the position they’re holding. As a brand ambassador, I shouldn’t be teaching you, a manager, how to do your job but you’re getting paid more than me yet you’re still able to micromanage me even though I’m doing your job for you while doing my job.
