Pros
The manager of my department always had the best interest of his team at heart, he did what he could to make our jobs easier while also juggling a million other things. Decent pay, and they were very flexible with the hours. Plenty of opportunity for upward career growth.
Cons
The rates that the higher-ups decide on get more and more ridiculous by the year, and everyone knows it. The employees know it, the university staff and faculty know it, the students know it. And it's the little workers who bear the brunt of the latter's wrath.
