All the staff are really warm and friendly. They value the learning experience of interns highly, organising various workshops on topics such as GIS, camera trapping and the EIA process just for the interns and new staff. There is even a mini-EIA project that interns undertake to experience how impact assessment is done since most of us will not be there long enough to see an entire project through. The job is very interesting as you get to go to many new places, forests and mangroves to do biodiversity surveys. Also really meaningful since the effect of highlighting the conservation value of natural areas, and reducing the negative impact of development on them, are very tangible.

Workload for a full-time staff is fairly high. Still chill for an intern.
