Pros

All of the benefits to working at this company don't exists anymore.

Cons

This is a company that claimed for years to put people first. Then in 2023, the entire company was laid off - every single person. The company was small - about 10 employees. Business had dried up due to the economic downturn (clients cutting their marketing budgets) and the fact that the company had neglected its own marketing efforts for its entire existence so bringing in new clients was hard. (Ironic for a marketing agency, huh?). By laying everyone off, the founder seemed to be throwing in the towel. But less than 2 months later, the company is hiring again. This time, the roles posted had to be entirely on-site in an office in Boulder, CO, where the founder lives. It begs the question: Were the layoffs truly because of money or because the founder wanted to "start over" with an in-office environment? Some of the laid off people are still looking for jobs, months later. If it was just a ploy to start over with new employees, the founder lacks fundamental integrity and responsibility that comes with employing other people. Whether it was financial mismanagement that caused millions in revenue to vaporize or the founder's whims that drove the layoffs, this "company" shouldn't be taken seriously as an employer. Avoid at all costs.
