Great people to work with; employees take seriously mission to serve the community with providing popular books, movies, music, etc. Very knowledgeable and helpful.

None, other than work is fairly sedentary, and patron requests can be somewhat repetitive. Compensation might not be that great for full-time career types.

I loved working at this organization and helping the community. Coworkers were often my favorite people to see every day and thankful for the experience. Truly a lovely, important place within the community.

Certain expectations of staff interactions with patrons put staff at risk of their own safety. Some patrons were given far too many chances, despite threatening staff or being outright belligerent before being banned. No one should go into work fearing for their safety.
