Pros

They have an incredible staff, wonderful executive staff, and a meaningful ethos. The work they do is important, and valuable to young people all around the world. An absolute joy to work for them.

Cons

Pay is low, but as you'll see, it's not about the money--the work done at Tawonga is meaningful and rewarding in and of itself.

Pros

- You get paid to backpack in Yosemite and take awsome road trips (quest) with a motly crew of twelve 9-15 year olds and thier two counsleors. - Wild leader job is a well respected department and has great resorces from camp. - When not away on trips you get to spend time on the beautifull camp property and swim in the river with all the freinds you are for sure going to make. - A gang of 20somthings in the kitchen cheff you up 4 great meals a day and do your dishes. And all your other needs are taken care of so you end up saving basically every penny you make (which admittedly isnt much but you dont do this job for the money). - If you arn't jewish its kinda fun to get a little window into that although very optional and not pressured. - Basically also a summer camp for the 200 or so young adult staff when not on shift and nobody is spending time on thier phones = insane levles of solcial life = you will probubly meet the love of your life and definatly make deep freindships.

Cons

- none - Current CEO Beca can come across as a bit corporate and maybe lacking a bit of tawonga spirit but liability is kinda her job so I get it. - FOMO can be truly crippling here. - 100 years of history, lore, and strange traditions to get up to speed on for a first timer. This ends up being a pro but you might need some learning time (can seem like a cult at first but it's actually lit)
