Limited advancement depending on the role but I’m not bothered by this currently.

Pros
Promotes from within, maybe too much so (no new, fresh ideas).
Sponsors visas for those that need them.
Some interesting work going on at the firm on the edges. Very uncoordinated though.
Pay is above average in my experience at more senior levels at least.
Cons
Really poor senior management with no real vision for where to take the firm. Focus only on "shiny things".
Most senior leaders have only worked at CS, so have no clue how to run a company. Needs fresh blood. Board is only partly independent. I didn't realize how much this mattered.
My sense as I left: the firm was trying to get rid of senior/expensive people in lieu of younger employees or folks that needed sponsorship that would work for cheaper and help bring down overhead costs. Also people who would "put up or shut up". Not the best way to see your faults and improve on them.
